Milkshed Ledger is illustrated only with photographs in the public domain, most of them taken by staff of federal agencies — the US Department of Agriculture, NASA, NOAA — in the course of their work. We picked images that show what our articles describe: cows at the bunk and on pasture, a pond being surveyed, a flooded valley, a water sample being read. This page lists each one with its source.
